Warning! Warning!

Early Voting begins July 21, 2014 at all 21 Satellite Sites through August 2, 2014
The August 7 ballot is long. Please, Please, do not let this discourage you from participating in your right to vote. The Republicans would love for that to occur. However, preparing ahead of time to tackle the most extensive ballot in Shelby County election history will make it easier to cast informed votes. Knowledge is power. A sample ballot can be obtained at shelbyvote.com. There are 40 judge positions to vote for. The Memphis Bar Association has the results of over 1300 local attorneys they polled at memphisbar.org.

The Commercial Appeal, Memphis Flyer, and Memphis Business Journal, all have articles on the local races.
Discuss the candidates with your friends, family, and other club members.

Our Mission

The Germantown Democratic Club works to bring about government policies and practices that provide necessary public services that others can or will not provide. We will encourage candidates and elected officials

* to provide opportunities for all citizens, regardless of economic or social standing;
* to put the interests of citizens above their personal interests; and
* to display the utmost integrity in carrying out their responsibilities.
